Through the Night Community Film Screening

Join us on Tuesday, June 15th from 5:30-7:30 PM PT for a Community Film Screening with the National Domestic Workers Alliance – Arizona, Mi Familia Vota, and YWCA of Southern Arizona in honor of International Domestic Workers Day.

THROUGH THE NIGHT, directed by Loira Limbal, is an intimate portrait of three working class mothers of color whose lives all intersect at a 24-hour daycare center. The documentary shows the incredible strength, love and determination of these families, exploring the personal cost of our modern economy through the stories of parents and caregivers.

After the film we will have local speakers share how this film, and the need to create more communal equitable systems of care, relate to our civic engagement work in Arizona.

Please note this film will be in English with Spanish subtitles and Spanish interpretation for the program and talk back after the film.

RSVP for updates and for the link to watch the film.
