In Michigan, the majority of domestic workers in a workplace with 2 or more employees, are covered by the state’s minimum wage law $8.50/hour effective January 1, 2016, $8.90/hour effective January 1, 2017 and it will increase to $9.25/hour effective January 1, 2018.
