All domestic workers, except for casual baby-sitters (refers to workers who care for children irregularly and not as their only source of income), have the right to minimum wage in the District of Columbia (DC). Beginning July 1, 2017 will increase from $11.50 per hour to $ 12.50 per hour for all workers, regardless of size of employer.
